One of the few cats outta frisco that was getting nationwide play on TV and radio at the time, all the while battling drug addiction, in and out the pen, etc. Some say he could have put some other cats on but fvcked it all off smokin.

Too many of those 90s rappers from Fillmore had serious drug issues. 4-Tay, Messy Marv, San Quinn, etc…

i was happy when he appeared on MTV. Back then it was a big deal to get your video on it. Playaz Club video was aired on MTV, and remember seeing him one of those MTV dance shows, maybe The Grind.

It always annoyed me though that the video version of Playaz Club cut it short before the β€œHeart of Fillmoe….3rd and Newcomb in the heart of HP”. Feels incomplete without that part.

I still want to know why he answered the phone on Makem Say Ugh :dwillhuh:

They had worked together on West Coast Bad Boyz Vol. 1 and 2. I guess P wanted to put 4-Tay on his album again??

4-Tay did appear on a bonus track on Ghetto D. It wasn’t on the original release but it was on the 10th anniversary edition.
