sounds like a bitter old man...the verse itself is "paying homage"

nobody has mentioned this :flabbynsick: nikka in 20 years...he should thank drizzy for bringing his name back up on internet forums

how many times have we seen this line on here:ehh:

this is like a automatic defense line for nikkas on the coli when they fave artist blatantly takes somebody shyt without acknowledgement:heh:

man this is some dikk ridin post bruh stop that shyt

what was drake supposed to do ? how bout not bite the fukkin lyrics :what:
He basically took Juvenile's Back That Azz Up and slowed it down. Juvie's reaction:

How did you feel when you heard Drake’s “Practice”?

I was kinda like, “finally.” Somebody’s finally showing me some props and showing my impact on the game. It’s a blessing. One of the biggest stars in the game remixed my song. How many people can say that? It gives me motivation. It lets me know I had a great career, that I really had influence on people and an impact. I hear my DNA in a lot of these new cats, and I love it. It makes you feel like you did your part.

There's a section in XXL every issue the last 12 years where EVERY rapper has taken lines sometimes word for word. Let's not get overly outaged just because this time it's Drake.

When Jay z did it everyone called him a biter and a clown. Drake does it and yall just continue with the excuses.

I don't, because everyone does it. I remember when Cam put out Swagger Jacker and a little bit after that someone put together a version where Cam was biting other rappers' lines too.

This shyt is retarded. The whole motif of the song is bay area. It's a mustard track and drake dropped classic 4-tay lines on the beat. Literally the whole point of the song (and the lines) is to pay homage. What we have here are narrow minded people complaining because drake didn't pay respects the way they want him to?

"he shoulda said his name'....'he shoulda put him in the video'.....'he shoulda wore the same shirt 4-tay wore on the album cover'....'he shoulda got a tattoo that said i love 4-tay on his forehead'

Newsflash: Drake is an artist, which means he can pay homage whichever way he artistically chooses. What should matter is the intention, which is showing 4-tay love...that was obviously's drake intention so why complain? He's the only young mainstream nikka showing any love to 4-tay, yet he's the one taking heat for not showing enough love to 4-tay? :dahell:

When was the Bay relevant? :bryan: Who is the best artist to come out of the Bay Area in the last 20 years that makes good music and people outside of the Bay area actually care about? :bryan:
:whoo:you will never get a answer to these questions
i made a thread about this and only one dude from the bay truthfully answered... the rest of these angry nikkas negged me:pachaha:

its not like drake spit these lines thinking nobody would find out where they came from....its a blatant song paying homage to a song/area/artist

and whats gonna happen is drake is gonna contact that old fukk boy and this will be over...

then in a few weeks rappin 4 tay who all of a sudden got his name back on the internet..will have an interview saying "yea it was a misunderstanding, we talked and he was really showing all the respect and love he had for my movement back in the day...hes really a good dude....oh btw, i know nobody has gave a fukk about me for the past 20 years, but all of a sudden my new album is coming out in 2 weeks"

No they're not. Juvie's been off CMB for a long time. Nice try. Juvie got a check for Practice, but again, this song (which ain't even Drake's) leaked just a few days ago. For all we know, they've probably already looked to give him credit once the song drops officially. For all we know, this becomes a hit for YG and they make a video. You don't think they woulda called him up (like Rappin 4-Tay's too busy for a video :heh:)

If you wanna call it biting, call it biting, but let's keep it real. Who doesn't do this?

That's like being mad at Fab for stealing Hov's opening Dead Presidents line on The Get Back and wondering whether he got Hov's approval before putting it out
