Man, its a whole new level of d1ckriding when hiphop fans think a rapper should be THANKFUL that another rapper used his lyrics without permission or giving credit. :mindblown:
He is giving credit...it was the whole point of him using the line :snoop:

But let me guess....you disagree with how he did it huh? :skip:

My Pops Forever RIP
he was in good terms with cash money when practice came out and is back with them now

this is like his 4th time back with cash money

Drake still took the song (and if Juvie didn't get paid off it, maybe he'd feel differently regardless). Drake didn't have to say "well this is a Juvenile song. I'm just paying homage." Why? We all knew what it was. It's not Drake's fault that we got kids runnin around not knowing who Rappin' 4-Tay is and that's the real issue at hand.

Like I said, I didn't see people mad at Fab biting Jay-Z's line. I don't see the outrage when rappers lift older rappers' lines. I don't see the outrage of Jeezy basically running around ridin Tyga's wave the last 2 years without proper approval. This shyt been commonplace.

The bay area is the next region to get pillaged by internet hypebeasts just like what happened to houston and Memphis. 90s bay area music has been left largely untouched, and people are just now coming around on Mac Dre, its only a matter of time; people shouting out and referencing to Mac Dre, going over 3x Krazy beats, and now one of hip hops larger acts taking lines from 4tay

Just like how everyone online swears they used to bump 3 6, they're gonna be swearing they were down with the figaz next.:snoop:
I really hope not. Although it would be nice to see Bay legends elevated to overall legends.

nikka dj mustard fat ass ain't from the bay...there were no references to the bay on the song...these nikkas blatantly biting
nikka even if the song was produced by Premo and was about picking flowers, you should have the mental capacity to understand why one younger rapper decided to take multiple classic bars from an older rapper. Obviously, Drake didn't expect people to think he wrote it :skip: so what other reason comes to mind? Occam's razor, nikka.

When was the Bay relevant? :bryan: Who is the best artist to come out of the Bay Area in the last 20 years that makes good music and people outside of the Bay area actually care about? :bryan:
What are you thirteen? You don't realize hip hop used to be regional? Mac Dre, Short and 40.

I think it was Drakes way of getting himself credit to Bay Area fans who remember and like 4-Tay's song. He wanted cats to be like "Oh sh*t, that nikka drizzy knows his sh*t!" :salute:Kinda like naming that random song "Wu-Tang Forever." If it was about giving 4tay credit he could have name dropped him or at least reached out to say he was gonna do it. But his intentions in doing it is a separate issue though. My point in my original post is you can't sh*t on 4tay for not automatically sucking Drakes d1ck because he used his lines especially when that kind of thing was a no no during the era 4-tay came in at.
