her and eric g got great chemistry. really eric g got great chemistry with everyone on jamla. white boy be spazzing
Bro, Eric G has always had the best chemistry with her out of everyone on The Soul Council since back in 2011

And :dead: at that awkward upwards head bob. I love his producer tag too. It's short, understated, never in the way, and he changes its pitch from beat to beat. I generally despise most producer tags, and a lot of the best producers stopped using theirs.

Lailas Wisdom is honestly the best female rap album since Miseducation imo.

I dont like this first single with DeAngelo though. at all.
Yeah, I'm liking the album way more than I thought I would. I'm not even a cynical dude but I couldn't help but look at that single as another "hey look, I got more cosigns from legends. remember Liquid Swords?!" type shyt. I doubt that was the intent but for a first single I just wasn't a big fan/ Especially since she already paid homage to Wu and that drumless beat by RZA on 260 by Rae and Ghost....and she did the homage with Rae.

But the album is dope. I really fukk with any In The Air Tonight sample for some reason. The Nina sample on the intro is crazy. I fukk with all 5 of the Eric G beats and the 2 Nottz beats. The joint with JID and SIR is dope. Rapsody has some really great wordplay on here, and it's got a good balance of sounding fun, not overly serious, but having gems on it. I also wasn't expecting it to live up to the first album, so I'm pleasantly surprised.
