But every Friday I checked the new release section and I listen to it and Charlemagne was really given this album a lot of praise

After a couple listens, I still think I might prefer her Crown EP from last November. Close, though. This may actually be a better actual project. Something about that Crown EP was just basically her perfect project IMO. Maybe some of it had to do with some of it being recorded right after Trump won, and the timing of the project just felt perfect.
When Rapsody is on point, there genuinely aren't many that do it better. Her bars on the title track is crazy.
