Get two lottery picks in this draft, come out with something like Fox and Isaac. Maybe use the 23rd pick to move up. Tank the hell out of next year and get a top pick, draft someone like Ayton or Michael Porter Jr.

Those are all players that have been excellent in their respective situations though. There's slight overpaying granted, but Lowry is at best earning a 120M contract Id like to think.

Ain't no team in their right mind is gonna trade there top 5 pick for an aging, injury prone pg, when you can clearly draft a PG 10yrs younger, cheaper contract and will be better than lowry in a yr or 2.

Lowrys best bet is going to a team that can make the playoffs and compete, you're clearly not making the finals unless you're on the cavs or warriors for the next few yrs barring any injuries. So you're best bet would be going to a team that can possibly push the warriors to a game 6 or 7 like the spurs.

In another year or two he's probably going to fall of a cliff game wise and you don't want to be locked into a max contract with someone in their mid 30's with a declining game.
