its crazy, if you would have told that kid that in a few yrs...he would be WWE WORLD Heavyweight Champion and marry a hot twin sister all in the same week.....................................dude would have thrown you in the bushes with Doc Brown.

no way he would have been over in the attitude era unless they let him do his full move set but at the time Vince was pushing big guys with big and witty personalities and while you can say Angle is not much bigger than him Angle still had the olympic pedigree and actually had a more aesthetic body that Vince preferred to have in his superstars
DB would have been the second coming of 123-kid if he debuted back then so timing wise he came up in the right time

Very high profile name in the business now. No way he just fades, and with the money he is making he is set for life. Like I said though too, when he retires, the dude is going to be Mr. Miyagi. Training the next Dragons into his Kobra Kai, just because there will be that one 6 year old kid right now... when he becomes 18 and thinks.

The part that I love about that interview is him just randomly saying he's working ECWA while he's living with this mom.
Dude went to ECWA, impressed people after working with Spanky. Then blew people away after working Low Ki in the Super 8 tournament Final to the point that it opened up doors for him to work other indys. Few months later he was working APW and winning the King Of The Indies tournament, that lead him to Gabe Sapolski and working the main event of the first ROH show. The rest, as they say, is history
