KI Gold however may not. Mostly because KI 1 and 2 already have online MP on Xbox One.

Supposedly, the Stamper brothers (Rare founders) are involved in this and there might be some stuff in here about prototypes, specifically Project Dream. This is the game that ultimately became Banjo and had Miyamoto shook. That's on an N64. Based Rare.

Xbox One Rare Replay Collection Uses Serious Compression; File Size Revealed
RARE Replay file size revealed through Dutch Xbox Store

On August 4th RARE and Microsoft will be releasing their 30th anniversary Rare Replay collection which consists of 30 classic games developed by RARE.



The collection includes titles from Rare’s Nintendo era to classics on Microsoft’s Xbox 360 and was announced during at the E3 a few weeks back.



Interestingly the Dutch Xbox Store has listed the file size for the collection and although the collection houses a total of 30 titles, only 5 of them have been released on Microsoft’s Xbox 360:



‘Kameo’, ‘Perfect Dark: Zero’, ‘Viva Piñata’, ‘Viva Piñata: Trouble In Paradise’ and ‘Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts’.



Each of these titles are at least 4.9GB in size on the Xbox 360 and this would mean a total size of at least 24.5 GB. As said interestingly the Dutch Xbox store makes mention of the file size for the Rare replay collection and currently the has been listed with a download size of only 11.26GB.





Not even counting the other 25 titles included with the collection (although these don’t add that much in file size apart from the N64 titles), that’s some serious compression right there.



Free a little bit of space on your Xbox One and grab that collection when it arrives on August 4th.
