So is there graphical upgrades to the games at all or is just straight ports?

Most of them are ports. Theres at least one old game they go a remaster. I haven't gone through all of them yet though. There might be more but I doubt it.

Ghoulies runs 1080/60, the graphical updates from Banjo Kazooie/Tooie, Perfect Dark, Jetpac are from their XBLA versions, and the other games are ports.
Spectrum/NES/Battletoads Arcade titles have rewind and save states though.

Anyway played some battletoads with my kids today, they loved it is much as i did when I was a kid.

The updated controls to JFG are a big improvement. Could still use work but definitely enjoyable now. That's a good look on a quick update.
