Ras always been my dude, but this album is mixed / mastered amateurishly. Late-aughts mixtape status. C'mon, Ras - you deserve better.
Album is okay but overall don't have a lot of replay value. The only songs I could see myself coming back to is "Grammy Speech", "White Power", "The Long Way" and "Guns N Roses".
His album Blasphemy with Apollo Brown was way better than this. And as a sequel to the classic Soul On Ice it just doesn't hold up.
Ras can rap his ass off and we all know he is one of the greatest lyricist in hip hop ever but he always have had trouble making an actual cohesive and interesting project with a few execptions.

Precise and cold hearted
I like majority of the tracks. Few gripes but this is solid no doubt. Features are the weak spots. Everlast, cee lo and jamo gang weren't needed.
Bumping this now and so far it's a fun listen. Not as raw as SOI 1, but it's still worth a listen

That White Power track is incredible. Needs to be heard on a major scale
EDIT: this album is VERY good from White Power and on. Literally have no complaints from that song on. Really good production, not cheap sounding like some of his pre-Apollo Brown albums

shyt is CRAZY. I do agree with those who said the mixing and mastering could have been better. Should have asked Dre if he would on the strength.
