Dallas by way of Houston by way of San Antonio
Smh, one of the real negatives of the 00s Lakers is that they gave Celtics and Pistons fans new life. Now they talk about those rings like they was goddamn dynasties. :russ:
And then DunGawd shut that shyt down a year later vs Detroit. :wow: And then MVPau did the same a few years later :wow:

I liked that era from nostalgic point of view, but no, 04 Pistons are not beating those Warriors. Even 05 Pistons aren't beating them and that team got stronger by adding McDyess into the mix. If size advantage is all it took to beat the Warriors then Warriors would have one championship only as the league would've figured them out.

Reality is, you can be a champion or even dominant in one era but be food in another. Piston's Rasheed was as reliable offensively as KAT, floating perimeter and chucking 3s. Tayshaun was Kyle Anderson with a green light.

Moving them up in eras, they would have comparable issues as the grit n grind Grizzlies, '11 Bulls, and current T-Wolves. Overstated defense with not enough offense. They would struggle against the '24 Mavs, let alone the '17 Warriors.

This is why being a player aint enough. Many players are biased. Some are downright delusional. And then you add middle aged black man to that. Sheed double down coming in 5...4...3 :mjlol:

This is like the third time I've said that all these dudes need to STFU. Only Chauncey could probably speak and make sense.

Go guard Horry bytch, or put a body on DWade

What ruleset are they playing under in this dumbass scenario? 2004 or 2017?
I came in to say the same thing. If they could be as physical as they were in '04, I got the pistons in a close one. If it's current-day rules, they're getting swept.

Era talk aside, basketball comes down to matchups. I don't think GS would be able to play as uptempo as ya'll think. I think the series would more resemble the 2016 series with the Cavs--real defense, great players playing great, roll players stepping up in important moments, and a few key plays here and there would decide the series.

The Warriors with KD though, they're probably getting swept lol
