An involved parent who acts to change their own kid's behavior? Good. Her hair and personality make no difference. There are so many parents around with kids not doing anything in school and acting up, and the parents couldn't care less. There were students in my last HS (I was educated elsewhere, thankfully) who slipped thru the cracks so bad they could barely read and others who came to school just to socialize.

That's old school. Back in my day, hearing someone's parent/momma was at the school put the fear of God in all who heard til we figured out who's.
