Olajuwon had a fancy offense and great defense. Agreed. That doesn't make him better than shaq. And level of competition is relative because shaq made his competition look like garbage. There was a lot of overlap in their career of foes as well.

Kazaam was a one-trick-pony, back down, baseline spin, dunk. His game was largely predicated on the chicken-and-egg argument of "abuse or abused". His game wouldn't transcend eras as well as Olajuwon's would, as far as the contact and foul calls. Plus, u could count on The Dream in the clutch, a better leader, lead weaker squads to 'ships (includin' aganist O'Neals own damn sqaud that was favored to win that series), and again, Kobe and Phil are a HUGE reason why Shaq was able to put up the numbers and accomplishments he did in Los Angeles, let alone the disparity in talent

I think it's stamped that those 5 bigs go first. As I was doing this I thought about how the NBA really did used to be a big man's league. :ohhh:

Yep. Look at that list. David Robinson in 1996 would EASILY and I mean NO CONTEST be the best big in the NBA right now and back in 96 you'd probably take 4 other PF's or C's before him :wow:

The issue at hand was where people stood historically rather than who was the best at their respective peaks. Beyond that it's not like anybody put Reggie over Dream or some shyt. Only nikkas that are being put after him are cats who had their careers derailed by injuries.

You didn't watch him at his peak. Someone drop the youtube video of the game where he scored 60 in 2000, you see his REAL offensive repitore.

His turn around hook was UNSTOPPABLE
