Rate this anime day 12: Tokyo Ghoul

I give it a 7. Season 1 was really good but then season 2 was shyt and non-cannon so it made season 3 feel like like a clusterfukk in the beginning. I know these studios like to strike when the iron is hot on popular mangas but these writers really need to stop veering away from the source material because in most cases, it’s never for the better.

Voted a 7.
I enjoyed the 1st 2 seasons but then after that shyt got crazier and harder to keep up with. They kept throwing new characters at you without setting shyt up or jump right into fights and you be lost until they explained shyt. Amazing fights and action, but that aint enough sometimes. I liked the movie though. That came out decent, but I enjoyed Deadman Wonderland more as a series.

7/10. Not taking the manga into account, the story started off brilliant and then devolved into a really basic story the just went off the rails.

BUT

The animation is very good, superb at times even so I gotta give it props.

Agree, but the later seasons fell off hard and were all over the place.
Got to the point where you could barely follow the story and just watched it for the fights which were always done well.
