This joint came out during the Golden Age of Adult Swim. It aired on there when I was 11 years old, one of the most beautiful but also the darkest anime I’ve ever seen at the time alongside Blue Gender.

S/O to my bae Blue and special S/O to my nikka Toboe

This anime had so many hidden messages and life lessons, I wanna go back and rewatch the series. I real live haven’t seen it since it first aired back in the day.

Such a cruel ass world those Wolves had to endure....This anime was so damn COLD

Real Ones should know

I fukking miss those days man....That whole 2001 to 2012 era of Adult Swim was unmatched, only the original Toonami (before it went to shyt in 2007) and Funimation Channel was touching Adult Swim’s anime programming block. This was back then when AS wasn’t on no goofy champ ass shyt like it is now, just feels like they’re pandering too much to potheads, psychedelic nikkas, cringey suburban Cacs, and the weird ass SoundCloud crowd nowadays and just comes off as being weird for the sake of being weird rather than being naturally eclectic and genuinely alternative like it was back in the 2000’s and early ‘10s. I know I may come off as from my ranting but it’s not my fault I got spoiled on both growing up AND coming of age during the best era of anime on American television....It’s moments like these when I hate getting old sometimes

I loved this anime. Yoko Kanno did amazing with the music This anime made want to be a lone wolf lol Kind of sucked that Paradise ended up becoming hell for them
