Lol I just listened to the American version, it seems out of place to me.
Imagine my shock when I went from Ocean dub to Funimation for DBZ.
That was the first time they restarted the series during the Namek saga
Lol I like it.
Yeah when they went to namek and they funimation came along I was so lost, I was like I know there’s something different about how Goku looks and the music but I can’t put my finger on it.
And you know what’s even funnier? The dub changed exactly when the animation changed, what kind of perfect timing is that? I was so lost when it happened, like I was watching another show.
Lol well this series was practically the prototype for One Piece

I went back and rewatched and it surprised me at how well alot of the show has aged. Like the comedy is terrific and the action was inspired as well.

Got the whole series on an external. The jokes, the storylines, the fights, the cultural references, the mythology intertwined within it........................10/10.
