Anime is trash mostly but the manga is top tier. One of the best story telling in a series with super emotional flashbacks and mysteries, although as I get older my impatience for waiting for those mysteries to be resolved grows thin. I also like how unique the world is and how creative the powers are. Like aint no other series that I know of have dudes fighting using biscuits or has a skeleton swaying peoples souls with rocks music. shyt is crazy

8 the only reason it's 8 is because it should have ended by now. All of the animes that came with it have ended or started a new series.

For me One Piece suffers from the fact that its too long and after a certain point it becomes a chore to watch(I feel the same way about Bleach and Naruto). I wouldn't say its super trash but I'm at the point where I don't want to attempt to watch it again nor do I care how it finishes. I'll gice it a 4.

Man, One Piece could have been DBZ status over here in the States if they had played their cards right. Why did 4Kids have to mess it up so bad?

I think the other factor is that the series doesn’t REALLY get good until Arlong shows up. (Around 25-30 episodes in)
