Cannon Busters: 6.35

For day 52 of our rate series the coli gave Cannon Busters a not so “friendly” score of 6.35 citing its lack of depth and low tier pacing as it’s main reasons.

On to day 53

This was a solid anime. That time traveling and the fukkery that results from it. I won't give it away because I thought it was hilarious everytime it happened and it spoils the impact for those who haven't watched it.

How many sequels and OVAs does it have?

shyt, I REALLLY wanna give it a 10.

REALLY.

But it starts off kinda Slice of Life and Okarin can be kinda.... off putting at first.

But this is kinda the Anti-Gurren Lagann for me.

You wanna see a nikka struggle against Destiny and fail? Repeatedly?

I can understand the feelings of GOATness that this series gets. For me, it merely brushes against it. CronoTrigger is my GOAT RPG and I was literally raised on Doctor Who. Time Travel fukkery isn't anything new to me.

But I will say this series pulls it off INCREDIBLY well. and in an incredibly unique way.

Ima give it a 9. It's one of my GOATs, but 9 it is.
