No lie I just recently found out this was a anime making it one of the first two anime I seen with robotech being the other

I recently found out it was anime as well. It’s a Shōnen

But us Americans got the Toonami dub 30 years after its release so many people never thought about it like that.

I never realized how many people caught anime just off of Toonami. When that shyt was popping, my tv service didn't carry cartoon network, so I had to rent/buy or find other ways to see shyt.

I remember back in the 90's the Syfy channel used to have anime themed days and would show shyt like Akira and other classics.
