One of my favorite anime series of this decade.

Fun characters, mad fukkery and it has some of the most creative fights I’ve ever seen. Jojo been around for like 30 years but each part feels sohh fresh Araki is a genius.

This also has to be the best anime adaptation I’ve ever seen. After reading all the parts the anime is damn near panel to panel. I was shocked because it’s rare for a anime to be sohh faithful to its manga counterpart. David pro like fixed some issues the manga had as far as pacing and weird story telling. Not even Dragon ball gets this type of love.

It's because it's so old (exisiting material) that they can be that faithful.

APPP produced the 90s ova adaptation and I believe there was a movie too. Anyone ever seen those?

It's a very polarizing series. Inspired by Fist of the North star but used fashion magazine to subvert ideas of macho men. Araki loved FoTNS but pokes fun at it all the same. He was also inspired by horror and Sherlock Holmes. There is no middle ground with this series. You love it or you hate it.
