Easily one of the best gangster themed anime ever.. Great characters, good story and plot, the pacing is good. Loved the whole vibe. Music was great too. You really feel for the main character and you wanna see him win, but shyt so crazy with how everything unfolds. Great series, I highly recommend it. Its not in my personal top 10, but it definitely has a place in the top 25.
If you like Vinland saga, then this shyt is like Vinland saga but with guns and gangsters instead of swords and vikings. Yeah they not exactly the same, but just off the revenge vibe and how it fuels the main character and their actions.
The tag actually worked for me today. shyt weird, but I'll take it.

I was really spending the last five minutes thinking was there any mafia style animes better than this and to be honest I can’t name one. I was thinking Durarara but even that is nowhere as deep as 91 days.

Gungrave is the only comp 91 days has imo.
The only thing is, that it also leans towards the Sci-fi genre too, but it was definitely on some mafia shyt though.
91 Days is a modern classic, simple as that don't @ me 
Your boy was so desperate to make this anime eligible I added every episode in the Op and extended the deadline to 25 hours.

I need to rewatch it but shyt was dark and grimey as hell but I didn't click with it as fast I liked so 7/10 having said that certain anime has done that to me before and on a rewatch I end up grading it alot higher so I'm thinking this is another one of em
