Gungrave: 7.40

For day 95 of our series the coli wasn’t really showing love to Gungrave. While some coli posters respected its first half other coli posters felt the second half was way to erratic and unnecessary. Overall the anime disappointed many coli viewers with its inconsistencies.

On to day 96

Rules:

This is going to be a tough one. It’s fairly new but this has gotten universal praise everywhere.

For comparison this anime rates higher than Demon Slayer, Vinland Saga and My hero academia. I only saw a couple of episodes so I don’t come into this thread empty of knowledge but this anime is wild weird.

 

[Doctor Doom]

The main character doesn't go through any heartbreak/actual struggle. He is legitimately overpowered and they're self-aware but it doesn't make for anything compelling.

give it an 8, simply because it's not finished.

It's not good enough to be "perfect", but holy shyt is it fun.

Great world building, great fights, some heart string pulling.... you wouldn't think they'd get so much out of a low level RPG enemy.

Rimuru is OP. I patiently await season 2.
