I fux with the people in Bmore more than the people in DC just cuz they more down to earth and the city ain't about being phony or acting more important than you really are like it is in Washington. I used to work up there and had women there so I spent a lot of time in Bmore. I hate the poverty and bandos tho.

I'll give Bmore a 6 outta 10. There's a lot of potential but I'm afraid if it does gentrify like in DC, the Black folks will get kicked out into the county. That accent is a beast and terrible. nikkas can't drive up there either.

Damn that driving part is the truth. Had a car totalled in Baltimore from one of those White junkies they keep all over the place and my comcast lady had something drive into the front of her house all within the same week. That lady was cool as hell.

I drove up there last weekend dropping off students at John Hopkins from BWI. Terrible roads, terrible drivers :mjlol: I just fall back and watch the fukkery of people almost crashing into each other.

I want Baltimore to gentrify, but I dont want it to be due to DC being too expensive. I don't want Baltimore to benefit solely because of another region... Baltimore, if it gets it shyt together, can gentrify in its own, and bring in more people who will embrace Baltimore culture.

It's my hometown, so I gave it an 8, although it probably deserves around a 6.

It's a really unique place, I have to say, a perfect blend of the south and north. For better or worse, no other city in the country has people like Baltimore. You can spot a Baltimorian as soon as they open their mouths, and I love that. I always wished I had more of a Baltimore accent, although it does comes out in certain words.

The Harbor and the surrounding areas are so beautiful. Structurally, the city makes no sense. One street would be decent, but literally the next street over would be a war zone, and then the next street after that would be decent again. I'm exaggerating, but the inner city is all mixed up.

Crapping on the county though is played out. The county is mostly suburban, but there are good/fun places up there as well.

You wouldn't want to be caught dead in West (and maybe East?) Baltimore, and public transport there is a shyt show. You definitely need a car if you want to experience Baltimore in all its glory.

I don't listen to Baltimore club music so much now that I'm older, but it still bangs. And the seafood here is the GOAT in the US. Don't @ me.

Every time I visit home, I do see and appreciate how the city is trying to better itself, although I do worry if it'll end up how Bushwick in Brooklyn is today--as much as I love Bushwick, the landlords are racist as hell and will do everything in their power to keep Black people out.

They should throw everybody in City Hall in the trash. How the fukk do they not invest in a new arena, convention center, Subway lines, light rail stops with all the conventions that are leaving, and how bad the beltway is??

We're losing so many conventions that'll bring in millions of dollars that it's almost sad. You got these lil nikkaz cleaning windshields fukkin with the people at the lights in MLK Blvd.... y'all can't move those nikkaz, or at least supervise them?? The police ain't doing shyt else, its not like they're fighting crime out this bytch.

Some of the coolest ppl I met from college came from Baltimore.

I’ve been there 3 or 4 times, and each time I go I’m treated well, and I’ve been to a few restaurants that were pretty good. Took my ole lady to the zoo out there, and had a good time.

Ima give the city a 7. Really, the only city I rock with up there on the Atlantic

I typically try to rate cities based off the best they have to offer, not the worse.

I do a lot of recreational activities that are very popular in the Mid-Atlantic and New England states, so when I come to Baltimore, I have lots to do so it’s not ho hum to me like it may be for some. On top of that,
Baltimore has:

1) History
2) Architecture
3) Established Black Community
4) Schools - Morgan, Coppin, and Bowie. UMES is close by
5) East Coast access
6) Food

That Smith Island Cake is just :ohlawd:

But also that Maryland crab and crab cakes, lobster rolls, pit beef and Old Bay Seasoning.:ohlawd::ohlawd:

I rate Baltimore an 8.5.
