I love my city! The only thing I hated about living there was being called for jury duty every year. Shyt was one of the reasons I moved. I got to experience a lot of stuff living in Baltimore for almost 30 years. I got stories that I can share in person, but won't risk talking about on here, but I've seen the worse this city has to offer

It has it's problems with crime, but every big city does or has in it's history. There's not a whole lot of big businesses that set up shop in bmore, which is one of the biggest reasons for the crime. As a matter of fact, most of the big businesses left in the 70's and early 80's right before the drugs came in and strangled the residents. In cities like present day bmore, unless you're working for yourself, you can make a career as a lawyer, doctor or in law enforcement.
Anyway, as far as the residents, I've never met or been anywhere with more conscious oncode blacks in my life. If I didn't have kids, I'd move back, but the public school system is

You're better off putting your kids in charter or private school if you got lil ones. Anyway, the residents are straight up and down with you and if you want a real answer about anything, not some fake shyt, ask someone from Bmore. All the people I know up there work hard and mind their business. You don't have to worry about someone snitchin on you for some shyt they saw you do. Even most of the cacs up there know their place and don't carry themselves like most other cacs I've encountered. I only experienced racism living up there in 3rd grade and in college. Other than that, the cacs up there are different and show respect.
As far as dating, I had two polar opposite experiences up there as a kid and as an adult. As a shorty, I was the smart, loner nicca

so them hoodrat broads ain't want nothing to do with me. They want the breh that's gonna be in jail or dead by the time he's 25 when their young. However, as an adult, you can feast there if you got swag

You can meet women anywhere in and around bmore if you know where to look.
As far as food, it's good food everywhere in bmore. You can get some good ass Italian in Little Italy, some slammin fried fish at Lake Trout or maybe one of the best rueben sammichs you ever had at Attman's. They got some good vegan spots up there too like Land of Kush. They got a lot of different and unique food in bmore, if you're into that kind of thing. You can get way more than crab cakes if you're not afraid to leave the harbor. Back to the crime real quick, if you mind your business and don't carry yourself like a p*ssy, you won't have problems up there. I go up there strapped at all times, but I've never had to pull it out. #I'dratherbejudgedby12thancarriedby6
All in all, bmore is a great city with a lot of potential, but the jobs gotta come back and the crime has to get under control. 9/10
