It's completely obvious to me. People from Baltimore are way friendlier. The accent and slang is way different. Folks from DC also kinda try too hard and over do it at times.

Not saying all, but the blacks I've met in DC and Northern VA don't like to help each other out unless they can get something from you. It's a lot of selfish, self centered a$$holes down here. In Bmore, they'll help you just because you're black and showing respect. Sometimes that gets people from Bmore taken advantage of, but that's a hard life lesson we all learn eventually. I can honestly say that the brehs I've met in PG have been pretty helpful too and not expecting to get something in return for helping you.

I also fux with the Maryland Zoo in Bmore too. It doesn’t seem to be as big as the Zoo in DC but it’s bigger than the one in Salisbury and it’s got some animals that not even DC’s Zoo got (or no longer have) such as giraffes, African elephants, polar bears, rhinos, etc. I need to make a return visit to it one day, haven’t been since 2006 I think.

Tbh, if the crime rate, potholes, and racist ass police department weren’t much of an issue, I actually wouldn’t mind living in Baltimore It truly is a pretty dope city and I wish it nothing but success, especially if it stays in the hands of Black folks. Might consider investing in the city one day when I get my funds up to serious means.

Baltimore is a shyt hole. Had to spend a week there last week and it was one of the worst weeks of my life. Every one just looked miserable. Roads are shyt, crime is rampant, cops roaming around like a police state, folks in the service industry have 0 concept of customer service, and the racism by the whites there may be the worst that I have seen and I’m from Alabama. Went to Racist Jimmys Seafood and was refused to be seated because my mom and aunt weren’t adhering to their “dress code” because they were wearing joggers. This one Jewish cac working in the Macy’s in the Towson center legit tried to act like he didn’t speak English when I asked him for directions to the mall entrance. I also got a DWB because the car I was driving had tinted windows. Haven’t had that happen in over a decade. fukk Baltimore, I’ll never go back.
