It’s not even the same city I grew up in anymore. It’s so much forced expansion that the city looks brand new. City is a bland hipster cac infested “cool” place to live. shyt gonna cost you though and for no damn reason. Pops bought his crib near downtown for 75k back in the day says he gets mail everyday saying he could get 300k easy and his house small af

If you want to work I guess it’s cool but you’re not around anything fun. I’ll give it a 6 with the potential to get to an 8

I used to only hit up Durham to either go to A&T vs Central games or hit up South Point mall. I was there a few months ago for my cousins graduation from Duke. If I’m going that way, I’d rather hit up Raleigh if were being honest.

Hella overrated. But Carolinians do that alot, they see their cities in a way nobody else really sees them lol. Only places I been that are kind of deluded like that are Upstate NY cities and Memphis, those places have the same issue...

Durham is okay if you want a small city, you can do worse. Definitely is better than it used to be, but not nearly as much going on there as other NCers would have you believe. Boring, bland, spread out...
