Only been their once for some volunteer work not too long after the earthquakes, the main parts are beautiful it but is interspersed with crushing poverty. I was mostly in the Bois Verna area, I stayed for about a week, would visit again casually because I wasn't really able to do that the fist time around.

Not every part of Haiti is war and poverty stricken. There’s a few spots that really nice and is often visited by tourists such as Gelee Beach, Bassin Bleu and Kokoye Beach.
