nobody goes to AC to live. You go to gamble and that's it. Besides the boardwalk and the casinos, it has nothing else to offer. You can only do so much with potential. Giving it a 4 until someone decides to clean it up and make it a city worth LIVING in. Now you have other casinos which may not give AC a run but if you just trying to gamble, you can hit Harrah's or Sugarhouse. Plenty of other beaches too. Rehobeth in Delaware or Ocean city maryland. They may not be AC but they are doable
I gotta shout out White House Subs, they make the best Hoagies and Cheesesteaks in that area

Trash. Corrupt. This place could have been a gem if they invested in something other than casinos for so long. They should have built a direct train line from NYC a hundred years ago.

The NJIT doesn’t go directly to AC? I ain’t got time now but imma check the NJIT map.
I think last time I saw it the NJIT in AC instead of going to NYC it just travels across Jersey right?

you can take a bus from Port Authority down to the terminal in AC but there’s no train. The train service that they did try to do about 10 years ago you still had to go all the way from Penn Station to Philadelphia and then go from Philly to AC. It wasn’t direct. I’m not even sure if it lasted a year.

im still mad they rejected the train line from Allentown, PA to Manhattan as well.
AC is a dump! I gave it a 2, for proximity to Philly and NYC.
I grew up hearing everyone hype Atlantic City like it was some great place. I knew people who OFTEN took weekend trips there. When I finally went, I found out the truth. It is an absolute trash heap, and quite depressing. I guess if you're a big gambler or club-goer, you could find some enjoyment there. I've been twice, and hated it both times.

Used to go there a lot back in the early 2000s when it was still somewhat popping. But now there’s a casino 15 minutes from me and another one a little over 30. There’s no reason for me to go. I will say I knew two cool as chicks from there. So I’ll give it a 5 for the nostalgia
