International dating capital of the world it seemed like.
High walkability and has the city feel.
Lots to see and do.

Been there twice, wouldn't mind living there if I wasn't in USA.

I'm always shocked when I run into people from london here in toronto who have moved here.
I'm like are you crazy :hhh:

:russ:

A lot of times the lifestyle we can have in Canada vs London is night and day.

Put it this way in London, its hits the pocket because you can't really afford to live close to work. So end up spending a ton on travel. All the back and forth on the tube, train or bus drags during the winter and rain season.

I love London, but I know once the sheen wears off I'd hate living there again.

They are way too different , NY is the most international city in America , hands down

Im not saying its the best , Im just saying that places like Paris . London , New York and a few others have more in common with each other than many places in their own countries

I like both places , and I would say the debate about which is better isnt clear cut and is mostly down to preference

But the thing that London beats NY hands down no fukking debate and the main reason I live there now is black culture .....

Blacks in London have an appreciation of each others cultures that you dont find in NY

You go to a club that plays only dancehall music, there will be a lot of black people in there who arent Jamaican or from the Caribbean , and those Africans or wherever they are from are just as knowledgeable about the popcaans and the kartels as any Jamaican , you go to a Soca night and there are a lot of people into the scene that arent from Trini or Barbados
Go to an Afrobeat club and a lot of black people there wont be African .... even a few years ago when Indian music blew up , a lot of blacks were on that Diwali wave

There is definitely less separation and we appreciate anything dope regardless as to where its from

They dont have the same hangups and insecurities as Americans do , you are never going to here a black person in the UK saying they dont like Hip Hop because they cant get past the accents ....lol

If the music is from America and its dope we fukk with it, if its dope and its African we fukk with it, if its dope and its from the Caribbean we fukk with it

everyone reps their culture hard and to the fullest and it is never an issue

It's not hangups or insecurities. It's just how European culture is due to high population density, recent colonial ties and palatability.

You are trying to compare people who arrived in the U.K. at the request of the UK in (World war II )people who've been persecuted by the government in the US for centuries.

Go ahead and pull anything black London has ever produced that comes close to The Harlem Renaissance.

I'll wait...

Black culture is firmly established both in NY and in the U.S.

read what I wrote , i did not say black culture isnt present

I said there is an appreciation of each others culture that is not present in NY, its not even close

Yeah that hits sometimes :francis: I learnt my lesson about spending CAD when I went to the US for a break on my own dime. I was used to work covering everything on work trips. Cant even imagine it up against the pound.

But my salary and bonuses balance it out. Plus I still have lots of money parked in my UK bank accounts as well as rental income coming in.

Oh there are plenty. the thing is women here both homegrown and from overseas don't fukk with Vancouver born guys. They say they're lazy and make little efffort.

It's also the concentration of them all downtown. It creates a unique situation tons of professional single women all living in a easily walkable place.

In London you could be shifting boroughs over to get at certain females.

Here any woman you desire is usually very near. And wit the apps you can have an introduction.

the first time i went to vancouver back in summer of 2014 this was when you could use fake gps apps and change your location so i did on tinder to vancouver. I matched with this real life pawg model down there like a few days before, she picked me up at the airport and ended up spending the whole 7 days with me :shaq:
