Hartford is an interesting city

Nightlife is decent now. It used to be wilder back in the day..esp since i cut my clubbing teeth in this city during the crunk era...for about my first couple of years clubbing there, it wasnt nothing to get maced at the end of the night by the police on some random shyt lol

i have several spots that i used to be at...it is very diverse and yes there are areas that have some problems with crime for damn sure lol

Russian lady is decent in the summer with the rooftop open but i just dont find myself thinking its worth it to head out to hartford on a given night any more

There's some nice site seeing and food down there; kinda rough around the edges in certain parts but it's just alright.

That Popeye's on Albany Ave is like a southern Popeye's; in some northern cities the chicken just tastes different, can't intelligbly explain how...

But that mofo on Albany tastes like a southern Popeye's lmao, shyt is crack!

Hartford has some of the roughest looking hoods I've ever seen anywhere. But its downtown is nicer than expected, people are okay. I give it a 5...

Stayed there for a little bit. It's alright, a bit rougher than expected. Downtown looks nice, and that's about it.

Saw some dude walking around with his ass out and some chick ran up on me and offered that thang for a very small bit of change. I declined.

And even then youre better off in west hartford

Yup. That's Connecticut for you.

I think New Haven has better things to do (Concerts @ the College Street and Shubert Theaters, award-winning pizza, great breweries, Yale University campus, etc.)

Stamford is great because of its proximity to NYC, and a lot of companies are headquartered there.

Bridgeport is downtrodden in a lot of areas, but it's big enough that you'll find what you're looking for there. Plus, BPT women are even easier than Hartford.

The positive thing I will say is that CT cities have a lot of Black folks and Latinos. When I tell people I'm from CT, nikkas think it's all rich cacs. That whole reputation stems from like 5 towns, only.

Good analysis. Just for that, I'll give Hartford a 9.

Connecticut in general has the 7th biggest Haitian population in the country. I’m not sure how much of them are in Hartford though.
