Been living here for 3 years now I love it hella expensive in terms of rent. Traffic can be bad at times. There is always something to do here just gotta get up and go do it lots of hikes view points beaches to check out always fun to catch the sunset on the west side of the island. The surf is amazing. The food is A1 lots of places to eat doesn’t really have the greatest Mexican food though.

I love Honolulu but the homeless population is crazy. I lived i Aiea for 2 years and there was a 8 acre plot of land behind my complex that the homeless people took over and used as a tent city.

Depends on what side of the island you live on most of the bars and clubs I go to are in town I stay in pearl ridge about 20 to 25 minutes from the bars and clubs depending on traffic most of the concert are at the blaisdell which is about 20 minutes away same with republic and aloha tower. I’m close to the stadium it’s about 5 minutes away from where I stay if you stay further west it’s going to take more time if your out East Hawaii Kai usually about the same as pearl ridge the distance and if you stay country side Waimānalo it takes a little longer

Also each suburb has bars and places to do karaoke and what not not so much clubs though most of the good ones are downtown

Traffic/parking is hell, but other than that it was cool. Would probably love it now that I've been out the military for a grip.

Yeah ive heard. How long you been down there? My dad actually moved to Kapolei. Its been so long that its gonna feel like im a tourist.
