Lots of history there. Lots of bad history too but still looks like an interesting city like most. Don't know much about it other than the wars and the Berlin Wall. Would like to go out there and try their food tho. Not in my top five European cities to visit but definitely wanna check them out.

Wow, I actually just got off the ice train from Amsterdam and in Berlin right now. So far it's like the rest of Germany to me......trash. nothing but drinking, rude people, and shopping. Oh and doner boxes. I'll explore tomorrow to give a more accurate review

It's funny, on the train from the Netherlands, people was just cool, chilling, high, and wanted to genuinely know you. I crossed that border, then the drunk Germans came on board with their beers n shyt being all loud n obnoxious. One drunk even tried me on some "did you reserve that seat (German girl behind me translated to me)" in German and I was like, I don't know tf you saying. I don't know German. He told the conductor and they just scanned my mobile ticket. Dude was hot and went and sat his ass down.

I’m not in a rush to visit it anytime soon. The city don’t look as interesting as Paris and London and like you said the city has too much of a evil history for me to simply just gloss over. I wouldn’t be able stomach much over there.:francis:

I was there recently and I really liked it
It feels like a European NYC to me but different. It's a pretty easy city to get around, and I had a lot of fun drinking beer all day and night
Going out drinking and eating is considerably cheaper than what I'm used to in the US
The women were pretty good looking, I didn't find them to look manly at all

I really liked the bars there, and drinking in public is legal.

9/10. It was more like an 8/10 for me, but that's because I know very little German and I don't think it's fair to take off points for that

In all my travels..

never have i ever heard anybody talk about Berlin like they talk about Sicily, Paris, Amsterdam, etc...

:jbhmm:
It's not romanticized like Paris but I have heard plenty of people talk about positively

I personally would rather go back to Berlin than Paris, though I was pretty young when I went to Paris so maybe I'd appreciate it more as an adult
