I have to take your word. He died when I was like 2. My mom didn’t find out until like the 70s she had another family and he was her dad and she fell out with her mom for like 10 years over it.

It hurts not to know more. All I’ve seen is pictures, and I met like 2-3 of his other daughters who still lived in Memphis before they passed. You heard of him?

I’ve heard of the church before but not anything in regards to it’s history or him for that matter.

I’ve never met my great grandfather because I was born 1 year after he passed away so I can relate to what your feeling. He was from Mississippi and served time in the Korean War before relocating to DC. He was a very kind and hardworking man from what my family told me. Your grandad would be very proud at what you and your family have become and the legacy he left behind. I’m not sure if your religious or not but just know he is in better place with God that is far better then here.

My home town :blessed:

If you come out here and you didn't go to an underground strip club, you lost!

All the underground strip spots in NorCal cities be popping. I was just showing a friend a video from summer '16 of me at an underground show in Sac, you know typically alot of them ain't cool with cameras and phones and shyt and the chick running the shyt threatened to take my shyt...

On topic though, SJ cool. Not enough black people for me, it's only 3% black. It's basically just a more sub urbanized version of Frisco, same racial demographics at play but with better weather...

Jeannie Mai fine ass from there, they do arguably have the finest women in The Bay, just not enough sisters...

best looking women in the bay imo. Great food and weather. Just too damn expensive doesn’t have the pizzazz of a San Francisco or the soul of an Oakland. But a cool city nevertheless.

San Jose looks like a southern California city. It doesn't look like it is part of the Bay Area.
That’s exactly it. San Jose is like a Northern LA. Size wise. San Jose is one of them cities that aren’t by water but get a pass to claim the bay. Like Pleasanton or Livermore :mjlol: Not hating on nikkas tho, it’s all love.

I'd give it a 7.

Great food places, weather (they dont call it Sun City for nothing. Bad asian chicks and Santa Cruz is not too far away .

People think SJ has the same weather as the Bay though will have a rude awakening :mjlol:

The cost of living :mindblown:
shytty drivers :francis:

Feels like an oversized suburb
