They were good for their time. Don't really transcend the era into timeless though.i give a 6. like dude said one of the average groups of the 90s. Alot of these groups like SWV and Escape were all on a similiar level , talent and musicwise as TLC back in 1994. But TLC records aged much better.

Not good imo. Lead singer vocals were trash. They were carried by the Bad Boy wave and good production.

I wouldn't call her trash but very average. You spot on about the bad boy push though. Unfortunately, bad boy could never find the right angle with groups. So many failed attempts that shyt is scary.

I'm starting to think that all these low scores are bc they were a NYC based group with an authentic NY street sound that dominated during that era

But some of yall were more hyped and gave higher scores to the Backstreet Boys and NSync
