I wasn’t checking for these dudes at all being that I was in my early 20s when they came out. But it was hard to escape their music and impact. Fast food music at its finest. 6
I ain't gon lie. I was a huge fan. Bootlegged their albums off of Kazaa and Limewire. Learned the dance moves and songs. I was was 12-13 during their prime years and I remember the girls being obsessed with these nikkas so it was smart for me to be up on em too. I actually was a fan because of their music though. Yeah they were the typical teen pop style but listening to their albums, they had some really dope grown sounding R&B cuts on there. Gots Ta Be is a legit R&B hit to me but the others like "Not Finished Lovin You", "Baby Girl", "One Kiss", "Out The Hood" are on my playlist to this day. Very underrated tracks
Still though, outside of the tight dancing, they weren't much vocally. Omarion is an average singer. The other nikkas was just there to look good and dance. JBoog could hold a tune but nah.
They dominated 02-04 as the top group though so I give em a 6 for that.
My fav joints from them.
You were clowned back then too. They get clowned now but back then they were dope.

“Girl, you just can't love anybody
I tell you I'm the right one for you
But you gots to believe me
'Cause everything that I tell you is true, yeah
I want to be your mother, your father
Your brother and your sister too
Be the good, be the bad
Be the gots ta love that you run to, girl”
