I haven't heard anything about it being closed. My sister and both brother in-laws work there and they haven't mentioned it. The men were just up here in DC for the CAA tournament. Tickets were $9 but I couldn't make it on Friday. I was going to go on Saturday if they made it out the first round but no dice. They been playing the tournament at the Mystics arena since we joined the CAA.

Yes, I was told at Homecoming last year there have been talks of tearing down both Corbett and Moore to put up new gyms.

A&T Hails Historic JetZero Announcement, Supports Workforce Needs

JetZero has announced a $4.7 billion investment for a production facility at Piedmont Triad International Airport in Greensboro, with plans to create more than 14,500 jobs.

EAST GREENSBORO, N.C. (June 12, 2025) – JetZero has announced a $4.7 billion investment for a production facility at Piedmont Triad International Airport (PTI) in Greensboro, North Carolina, with plans to create more than 14,500 jobs.

This news stands as the largest job announcement in North Carolina’s history.

The company and the state will work closely together to create customized workforce development and training programs, including through North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University and its College of Engineering (COE), which is the nation’s No. 1 producer of African American graduates in engineering and whose Department of Mechanical Engineering offers an aerospace option for undergraduate students.

This fall, N.C. A&T also will enroll its first B.S. in AI students. The only degree of its kind in North Carolina, it offers two concentrations: Advanced AI Systems, offered through the COE, and Applied AI in the College of Science and Technology.

Yes it’s crazy how fast my school grown and how big it is in comparison to when I was there.

i remember my soph year them telling us raising Jrs we basically need to start looking for apartments because they wasn’t going to have room for campus living due to the in coming freshman class.

They luckily told us like Feb or early Mar, so it gave many of us ample time to get our affairs in order to search for apartments (which was fairly affordable at the time)


but every year since then it exploded and I couldn’t be more proud
