This series will use a standard set of metrics for each school. Those with no connection to the school, will rate it based on that info. Just like the threads about the different cities.
Those who attended the school, attended a (sports) rival school, married to/taught by/work with/work for/related to an alumnus of the school will weigh in with relevant info apart from the metrics. Those who are from the school would have the most informed opinions, of course.
After the A Different World effect of the 1980s, I think in modern era it would be hard to find Black people with no connections to an HBCU.
In fact, there's an old notion about there only being 6 Degrees of Separation between people, that came from the film.
I think that an HBCU would be the connecting link between most of the people here. Good % of people here are connected to Howard U. by 2 two links and know people who were on that campus at the same time.
