A Little history on Marly Marl; He started producing Electro as the NY cutter. He didnt even like hip hop at first. He went down to Philly to get on and recorded his first records on Pop Art records.

Tag me in these breh. Woulda gave Riley a ten. For his versatility. Marley gets a 9 from me. Dude singlehandedly created the East Coast sound in hip hop

Singlehandedly? There where a lot others too.
The Bomb squad
CedGee
Herbie The Love bug
And a few others that escape my mind.

The reason I say singlehandedly is becuz you could hear his influence in so many producers after him. Primo, RZA, Pete Rock, Large Pro, Q Tip, Havoc, etc. Even today you can still hear it with those Griselda cats and a few others. You can’t say that about the other dudes you mentioned. Like as dope as the Bomb Squad was idk if they did production outside of PE and Cube’s first album. I could be wrong tho. But you can hear their influence in Sir Jinx’s production off Cube’s Death Certificate tho
