why? jay-z carried kanye on this shyt lyrically.

I gave it 4.5, simply cuz damn near every song on here still knocks to this day.

and there's really no weak songs on here outside of "lift off".

Lift Off actually aged really well and sounds really nice if you listen again. I remember I despised that track when the album first dropped. That damn breakdown at the end is heavenly

you consider it a classic? pretty sure it was gettin shytted on when it came out by ultra real hip hop heads and anti-capitalists graduate studenst on social media. its 3.5 mics to me. musically dope, jay was solid but not solid enough to make me care and kanye well, dude isnt a rapper. the guest spots were the best thing about it and the production

Never really felt this album. Truth be told I expected more and was let down when these cats were just talking bout how much money they have (usual Jay) I thought they would give us something a little bit more. Nowhere near classic a 3-3.5 IMO. Production outshined both of em.
