That's cool. But make no mistake about it..wrestling took a BIG HIT Monday Night and we are a long way from seeing anything close to a recovery anytime soon. There was something going on with Cesaro before he left television and I don't think that's going anywhere soon but we'll see. You don't find those kind of connections with crowds out of nowhere. Fans kind of laughed at Ambrose trying to fight Lesnar and talking hard. When Heyman put over Lesnar and tried to use Bryan as a name to put Face Lesnar and Suplex City over? Crowd booed his ass out of the arena. He's just a different level.
The only thing that has taken a hit is the Raw ratings since HBK retired. They've broken 3.5 since his retirement about the same amount of times they broke 3.5 during the build of Shawn/Taker II. A dozen or so times. That's six years versus 4 months.
Time will tell if Bryan or the lack thereof has this kind of impact.
When Shawn retired, it didn't make HALF the impact we saw from all of those outlets on Monday. Come on
