How can Columbia let a dude drop an album that would sell 0.7k?

This is how indie people move, drop an album and work it and hopefully your next album moves units. We're used to people dropping 5 mixtapes before they drop their first album, so

i don't like his music at all BUT

Sad thing is he won't recoup that advance anytime soon. I know it's cool to laugh at dudes who bomb but the reality is that these kids are exploited. Kanye picks him to help write his shyt, then a label gasses him up with dreams of maintaining the life he's watched Kanye live. Signs, has no buzz, and bombs.

If the label gave a fukk about him they would have had him do mixtapes and tour with similar young artists.

maybe if his label pushed him like what Roc did to Cole, Scope to Kendrick, and YM to Drake maybe he would get somewhere.
