I’ve said for years that Harbaugh should be let go, but not sure how you can laugh at him being paid as much as Tomlin. What has Tomlin done that Harbaugh hasn’t? Yes, Tomlin has had lesser rosters recently, but he also had loaded offenses and did nothing.
End of day Harbs chose to be fired to keep his money if he doesn't get another job. Mutually parting ways wouldn't allow for it.
Besides...he could have went along with Biscotti request if he wanted to stay another year. Harbs was not breaking from his vision and his happiness to bend the knee.
I mean you answered your own question- Tomlin has done more with less (and by a wide margin).
Harbaugh's teams were suffering losing records and missing the playoffs constantly when his HOF defense left. He was a dead man before Lamar.
Not to mention, Tomlin has never had a 2x MVP QB or a HOF RB at his disposal, so I don't really follow your comparison.
