As bad as Peyton was his first couple years in the playoffs he was forever redeemed in that AFC championship game when he was getting blown out and finally got the monkey off his back.

He pulled himself off the canvas something serious that day. That team was dead, his legacy was toast and he was just going to be another stat padding MVP. The man literally pulled off a miracle in the second half

Against the Patriots no less
Yep and that happened in Year 9. Lamar will be in Year 9 next year, he desperately needs that kinda Manning moment. I still have hope because we saw Manning change his narrative. But man this isn't looking good right now.

The difference is he also had Tony Dungy.

John Harbaugh is quickly turning out to be a fraud.

Lamar desperately needs a calming presence at this point

As much of a fan of his as I am, the way the blitz and these big games rattle him, is an indictment on him. Granted, he doesn't have a great head coach. This is two straight years with a bad defense. He has some things working against him, but heavy is the head that wears the fukking crown.

Its literally like watching Peyton Manning all over again. Manning was in Y8 in '05, this is Y8 for Lamar. Manning was awesome and looked like the best QB alive, when he wasn't in rhe playoffs, playing the Patriots, or another elite team.

Lamar is Manning reincarnated in a mobile black man's body. Its so upsetting to me 🤣

Didn't you "Coli Jinx" Lamar?

Yeah long story short Manning went to halftime, looked in the mirror, grabbed his nutsack and decided to go for broke.

Ditto for LeBron vs The Celtics in that game 6

I suggest Lamar do the same

To be fair, Tony Dungy was more of a defensive specialist. Although Tom Brady recently mentioned how much it helped him when Belichick took on more offensive responsibilities his 2nd year as he was able to break things down from a defensive standpoint (what are the weaknesses of certain formations, how to exploit them, etc.).

Somebody earlier brought up how the Ravens have thrice let go of an elite defensive coordinator in the Harbaugh era. Imagine what this team would look like if they promoted McDonald and fired Harbaugh. Woulda been a tough call to make but Harbaugh's career has been extended because of how Lamar surprisingly turned into what he is.

May be time to show Harbaugh and his entire staff the door. This team has Super Bowl aspirations. If they finish anything short of the AFC Championship appearance this year, Harbaugh gotta go.
