Wow, this is shyt is mad ill. But I gotta address a few points. Firstly, Gene said & many of yall quoted Puff said "I don't know if Pac gotta die, or B.I.G gotta die or Suge..." but when he get onto the phone convo wit his man Bun who witnessed, he says Puff said "I don't if Pac is GONNA die, or B.I.G GONNA die or Suge..." Two completely separate statements.

Then he talking bout Puff kept BIG in debt. He had just released his first album (1995), every mfkin artist is broke on they first, his first contract was wit Uptown, his second was Badboy/Arista you think Puff is making him rich on some friend sh!t off the strength? Every artist has to recoup on second (which is why every artist gets mad commercial and tours crazy on their second).

Enjoyed it but keep this in real-life perspective if you don't know the era or music contracts people.

His first album was in 1994, and wrote the entire Junior Mafia album in 1995, wrote for Total, Mase and was writing for No Way Out.

There's no way Biggie should'nt have been rich by 1997.

Because just like Pac said them agents had biggie and puffy under extortion. They did what they said or face the repercussions. None of them was eating and Pac was making it even more tough pressing them in the streets and on record, esp when you got these gangsters you gotta fed.

Breh, your timelines are wrong. Pac was shot in 1994, RIID came out in '95. That KONY talk Gene mentioned was all of 96-97, Publishing dont make you rich cos all of those were new artists. And I repeat NO artist is rich of their first album, especially not the same year the album comes out. Forget the image. Take it from someone who knows.

It ain't just that at all. The record industry wasn't built to make you rich just like that. Forget the videos for a sec, Badboy was a boutique label then (even after the 50/50 Arista split). Puff ain't re-up heavy till '99.

Gene Deal oftens namedrops a "paul" in these interviews...

'In addition to working as Diddy's personal security ...Paul had also been the bodyguard of Diddy's most prized rapper Christopher Wallace aka Biggie Smalls....but Paul was more than just a bodyguard..on one occasion a BMF driver delivered 60,000 dollars from Terry Flenory to Paul who recieved the money at Diddy's New York office for Bad Boy Records"- Mara Shaloup

That's something i learned and which hurts even more of BIG's death is that HE WAS WARNED, not once, but MULTIPLE TIMES that the HIT was on them :snoop:

That's just something that gets to me each time, BIG's sh*t could've been prevented on many different routes, like going to LONDON, not attending the VIBE party cuz by that time his car injury made him not want to move around as much, the warnings, his mom saying don't go out to cali, the freestyle on sway's show, all that sh*t was just unconsciously going for a death wish :to:

Can you imagine a 97 with BIG being alive?? :sadbron:

It gets me pissed off just knowing what could've been... :why:

warning comes before destruction :francis:

Big death was 100% avoidable, like i said before, thats the most saddened part...

Biggie and Puff were not pressed in the streets of NYC by Pac or Death Row. Puff was eating heavily with renewing his contract with Clive Davis.
Please dont tmake sh!t up.

Where did I say NYC? But I guess turning into a track star hiding under cars or jumping off of balconies everytime he saw them heading his way isnt being pressed?! Puff was heavily getting extorted by government snitches in the streets of NYC on top of all that. There I corrected it for you. Puffy knew he had a real problem with deathrow which is why he was out soliciting murder to some low level gang bangers instead of attending the sit down with the real OGs from NY. I think at one point puffy tried cutting his wrist trying to commit suicide because the pressure they were applying was too much. Pac and Suge fukking his and bigs women and herbing out his biggest artist daily turning the whole label into a joke. Puffy was and always will be a sucker.

Well we will never find the answer as to what really happened with BIG AND PAC

But one thing is for certain that I realized long time ago when I first started interacting with the industry

ALL THE BOSSES FROM ALL OVER ARE CONNECTED....

Suge... Harry O...Freddie Demann..Haitian Jack...Lydia Harris..Jprince...Uncle Zip...Dmac.. Barry Hankerson...Peter Bailey...Chaz...PJ Buford...Meech..

And that's just to name a few :mjpls:
