That ending was so good I couldn't even believe it was happening. Best RAW ending since who knows when. Everybody played their part to a T. Does anyone think they will unify the belts at Mania??? I have a hard time thinking there will be unified champ after this Sunday. They could get away with it - since Rumble is coming up and more than enough different matches they can pursue.

Steph and HHH aren't even attempting to be heels though, they're trying to be "tweeners" and it's not working at all. One minute they're heels and the next minute thy're making matches "for the fans" and doing "what's best for business", which are things a face would do. Seems to me that they're attempting to get behind Cena so it get's their character's over.

No... the "for the fans" and "best for business" is them being full of shyt basically. Everything they do is done with their own motive, but they're covering it up by insincerely saying it's "business" and for the people. There's not a bit of tweener in anything they're doing. HHH is like how Vince used to do shyt "in the interest of fairness" even tho' he was clearly putting Austin/Rock/whoever at the disadvantage, and Stephanie is like that principal at school who talks to you like she knows what's best for you more than you do.

I stopped watching RAW, yet again, and now I'm pissed! So I wen to WWE.com and peeped that ending.

I loved it!

I agree, that was expert booking. And it works particularly well because the booker understood that action should always serve as the narrative. We don't need a 10 minute speech to explain an action that can be shown in 30 seconds.

Show don't tell.

All within like a minute? That's some expert booking. Direct and to the point. Setups up a multitude of possible angles.

That's cool if you interpret it like that and I do kinda see your point but I don't see it like that.

That means you don't see it the way it's meant to be seen. Nothing they've done has been to the benefit of a face, it always leans toward the heel. The only thing I recall that was against a heel is refusing to allow the Shield to interfere in Orton's match w Big Show... but then they themselves came out for that match, so...
