Facts are facts.. Rollins started the downward trend
The downward trend stared when people got sick of Cena and the same shyt every week. It sped up with the third hour which happened long before Rollins. The fact that they are running unopposed and have fallen so far (despite being a good rating for tvs sake) isnt a cause for a celebration thread.

Facts are facts.. Rollins started the downward trend
The downward trend has been going for the last decade+.

The rating on Monday was the highest since August. In other words, August was higher. Who was the champ in August?

Furthermore, since Rollins has been off the show starting w/ the tournament in November, Raw has been setting 18-year lows week after week. Obviously they felt they needed to go all out to try to give Roman a bigger push than anyone in the last several years by having him "snap", beat up everyone, beat up HHH, beat up Vince. That's like their ultimate "pull out all the stops" move, they dont do that for anyone.

All of that and the rating was a 2.66, which is the same rating that the company was panicking about exactly one year ago.

Downward trend has been going on a long time and isnt stopping any time soon, not with a band-aid quick fix like they're doing.

The fact that people are acting like ratings went up for any reason other than Cokeboy is laughable. :mjlol:

They didn't announce Cokeboy would be on the show until the actual opening though. He definitely is the reason people stuck around for the third hour, but TLC's ending is the reason people tuned in Raw in the first place.

RAW began to hit 18-year lows in October and it happened twice that month:

10/19 Raw Rating falls to historical low - PWTorch
WWE Raw ratings hit an 18-year non-holiday low on Monday

So the fact that people think Reigns was responsible for the continuing downward trend of ratings is as dumb as people that blame Bryan for the stock and Punk for the ratings in 2011. Therefore, I'm using the same logic as the smarks by blaming Rollins for the ratings collapse since it began during his reign.

Who's blaming Reigns for bad ratings? All Ive seen is celebrations and people acting like Monday got huge ratings, they're even tryna force a nickname.

These ratings discussions are always pointless because when guys arent flat-out lying about what the rating was, they're just spinning everything to try to support their argument, blame this guy for this but credit that guy for that, and theres so many intricasies that you can literally use it to try to argue support or to trash anyone. Coming in and saying "Rollins started the downward trend in ratings", full stop, is misleading at best, especially when that same reign included episodes that rated higher than the current one and never got as low as since he's been injured.
