Raw ratings might be worst in last 15 years

The Raw ratings were being talked about all week about possibly being the lowest non-holiday numbers in 15 years due to the Bears vs. Cowboys game, the weak ratings of late, no hook for the show and no John Cena this week.

The answers were worse than expected. The show did 3.50 million viewers, which figures to be between a 2.3 and 2.5 rating.

The hourly numbers were 3.44 million at 8 p.m., 3.60 million at 9 p.m. an 3.47 milion at 10 p.m.

I would say a 3 hour draft special would save the ratings, but the brands are basically combined and these 3 hour Raws prove that even with more time they still get things wrong. I tapped out on Raw last night when Ryback couldn't lift Albert, yet Cesaro bodied Brodus.

From a quality standpoint, and I say this as one of TSC's most unbiased posters, the show does not suffer at all without Cena. As far as ratings go... that's a different story, apparently.

Still, they should've been smart enough to know not to put Punk & Hell No in the main event. Might as well have put Miz in place of Dolph to really sink the rating.
