Only NBA MVP that never even made it to the Finals.....and he won the MVP twice? :mjpls:
I also don't think any MVP has had such worse luck. Getting his nose broken in crunch time of a game. Joe Johnson breaking his face and missing multiple games. The Amare and diaw suspensions. Tim duncan making a 3 to force OT. Etc

As far As Ray Allen vs Pierce. Paul Pierce was a better scorer. Pierce is 15th on the all time scoring list. Has multiple 2000 point seasons and multiple seasons averaging over 25ppg. Ray never scored over 25k points, never had a 2k point season and only has two season where he averaged over 25ppg. In Ray Allen's highest scoring season he averaged 26 on 21fga per game, in Pierce's he averaged 26 on 18fga per game. Allen isn't in Pierce's class when it comes to scoring. Pierce was a better reb and had higher career apg. Paul Pierce was a better playmaker. You couldn't put the ball in Ray Allen's hand and ask him to create like you could with Pierce. Pierce bringing the ball up the court and setting up the offense was a staple the year we won the chip. In today's game, where every coach puts the ball in their best wing players hands and let them play PG, Pierce would feast. Pierce was a better defender, had better handle, had better footwork. The only thing you could say Ray Allen did better was shoot 3s and FTs. That's it.

Ray wasn't getting swept though. You the resident Celtic fan, so if you think he had the last impact thats your opinion. But his basketball resume speak for itself, he average 20+ 9 straights years, something Pierce never did. And all them cats you named that you said he was never as good as, they're all HOFers

You're obviously a Ray Allen fan because you aren't being rational. So what if Ray avg 20ppg for 9 straight seasons and Pierce didn't... that's only because Pierce had to share the ball during the big 3 era. Pierce might not have won a championship without KG and Ray but he would've dam sure went over 30k points. Before the big 3 era Pierce had more total points than Dirk Nowitzki.. miss me with the avg 20 for 9 plus seasons crap. Ray wasn't in Pierce's league when it came to scoring.

Ray was one of my favorite players when he was on the bucks. Best looking shooting form ever. Loved his game.

But the pierce slander has got to stop. Respect that man. 25k points, champion, fmvp...if he doesn't play with ray and kg, he's probably in the 30k point club.

Porter only coached 51 games.

Nash averaged 16/10 that year, the season before he put up 17/11.

You said the year, the reason that Porter was fired was because they were playing a slow-down offense and Nash was putting up like 15 & 7. They went back to an offense resembling what D'Antoni ran once Terry Porter left

This isn't true. Ray was handling the offense just as much as Cassell in Mil & Brent Barry in Seattle. Ray could create whenever he wanted. Paul Pierce didn't have a handle. And Cyber-Toine ran the offense in Boston. Didn't they go from cellar dwellers to like an 18 game W streak once they got Employee #8 back?

Porter coached 51 games, was fired during the all star break.

Nash averaged 14/10 prior to the break.

Antoine never ran the offense in Boston, you sound retarded.

If Ray Allen was a better playmaker than Pierce and had better handle, how come he was never asked to create offense during his time in Boston? Do you know how foolish you sound? Again, be rational. Ray Allen was only better than Pierce at shooting 3s and FTs. That's it.
