Look at the Rondo trade and the Josh Smith signing. On paper it looked like it could only help but instead both teams have been average at best since. Some things are better left alone.

You overstate what those players roles are on their respective teams as opposed to Ray's role here would be. Ray's role would be a backup SG here not a starter or a key piece like Rondo or Josh Smith. Again, you can NEVER have too many shooters
