You don't see how these two statements are in direct conflict? If you can't use dude for what he's good for then there is really no point in making the trade. They should have devoted their efforts to bolstering that line and getting Lynch's heir apparent on deck.
I guess you didn't read the rest of the comment where I said they were not investing in the OL. So you might as well get Jimmy. Cause when Lynch breaks down the team is truely fukked with them trash heap WRs.
Oh course I would have preferred the Seahawks get Wilson some OL dudes. I been bytching since I started watching the NFL that these black QBs often times get trash OLs and trash weapons.
Wilson is a 5-11 QB and unlike the saints the Seahawks have refused to get their short QB some big targets (besides Jimmy) and have refused to invest in an OL. They rather him run around and make some plays....just like past black QBs to coverup the holes on offense.
Like I said before the only thing that seperates his situation from the shyt that McNabb had was that Wilson had a power running game and a coach who will commit to the run.
